Property Marking Program

The city of Richardson PD has started a campaign to get citizens to use the “Property Marking Program” which is sponsored by the Insurance Information Institute. It is a program that provides a web site where Richardson residents can set up an inventory account that lists the serial numbers and other identification of property that may be stolen or burglarized.
Police say that the majority of burglaries occur without a witness, which means no suspects. So the traceability of items is a key to the success of an investigation and prosecution of a burglary.

Do You Want To Help Out With HOA Events?

Dear Homeowners,
Each year we have a few social events that are organized by the HOA for the benefit of the homeowners. If you would like to help in the planning of one or more of these events, we would love to let you show off your talents and contribute to the community as a whole. The following activities are currently planned or under consideration.
* Annual Block Party (May 3)
* July 4th Parade & Party
* Annual Homeowners Meeting & Pool Closing Party
* HOA Community Cookouts

| Annual HOA Meeting |
Sunday, September 19th at The pool
Please join us at the pool for the Annual Meeting. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy some food, drinks, and socialize with your neighbors. We also need to elect a couple of board members. More details will follow.
Alternate date (in case of inclement weather) for the meeting is September 26.

| National Night Out |
Tuesday, October 5th at The pool
This year’s National Night Out (NNO) event will be held on Tuesday October 5th, 2010. The theme is “Give Crime and Drugs a Going Away Party”.
The National Association of Town Watch (NATW) has decided based upon responses from communities across Texas to again allow Texas to have National Night Out in October. October is also National Crime Prevention Month which makes this a great opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of being involved in Neighborhood Watch and to refocus on crime prevention in our community.
